As Ecclesiastical Representatives our intention is to offer and provide Covenanted Community Members: ministers, practitioners, core council members, and laity a safe and open environment for honest communication, mentoring and support. We are committed to performing all of our functions and activities with integrity, love, compassion, knowledge and spiritual truth and to act in service for the highest and best of all concerned – always. Our contact with our covenanted groups is ongoing with all groups on a regular and consistent basis. And we are always open to calls at any time for any reason. | United Church Assistance Program (UCAP) | |
| The Ecclesiastical Department also offers a service to our ministers, practitioners, home office and field staffs and to members of our Boards and Core Councils and all family members in these groups. The division under which it operates is known as United Church Assistance Program (UCAP). Information may be secured through our webpage under GEM-UCAP. Since UCAP’s inception there have been 223 clients assisted through their various challenges. The program enjoys a success rate of over 73% …or about 10% higher than comparable Employee Assistance Programs.
